Get it now.</h1> <p>At Bootstrap Records, there are no minimum order requirements -- your band can order just a few CDs at a time. This means a smaller investment, so you don't have to risk a lot of money, and you can have a great looking product right away! <p/><p>Keep it current. <p/><p>Buying in small batches also means that your CD is always current. If you buy a thousand CDs from a traditional publisher, you can’t add songs, change the artwork, or update the member list until you’ve sold every single one! <p/><p>If someone leaves the band, you may not even be able to sell them at all, leaving you with a closet full of CDs that you have already paid for. <p/><p>But if you buy in small batches from Bootstrap Records, you can make changes every time - new songs, new artwork, anything you want. You can even list upcoming shows! <p/><p>Grow faster. </p><p>Buying in small batches also means that you can have money coming in right now. If you buy ten CDs from us at $1.60 each and sell them at your next show for $8, you’ll start making money after selling just 2! But if you have to invest $1,500 at a traditional publisher for 1,000 CDs, you won’t see any money coming in until after you’ve sold 188! If you have income right now, you can invest in advertising, equipment, recording, travel, or any of the other things a band needs to grow. </p> <a name="nfprofile"></a> <h1>Support for local music.</h1> <p>Bootstrap Records was founded to support local music. We will always focus on small-batch customers, helping you grow until it makes sense for you to buy and sell CDs in thousand-piece batches. </p> <p>The idea of this company came from our visits to local music. It seemed that there was great music everywhere we went, but most of the bands didn’t have CDs, because of the hugely expensive process of releasing your own music. There were only two options for these bands: burn a disc on your home PC and try to sell something that looks unprofessional, or dole out thousands of dollars for a truckload of CDs. Most of the bands we met didn’t want to do the first option, and couldn’t afford to do the second - but we still wanted to buy their CDs! </p> <p>We started to research the CD production process, finding ways to eliminate the need for huge batches while still providing professional quality. Our CDs allow you to promote your band and your art and your voice, any way you want. They will help you to make money while doing what you want to do. And our small batches let you avoid signing your music over to a huge corporation - so that you stay in control. </p> <p>The company is called "Bootstrap," because we are all trying to lift ourselves up.
